Permalink Reply by Paperdaniel on April 22, 2011 at 3:11pm I've found that the activator tends to dry out even when the plastic cap is kept in the bottle. My activator now lives in a sealed bag inside a sealed container.

Yes, you can wipe figure down with 70% alcohol and water mix 50-50 after it has cured for at least 72 hours.

Ok matt. I have a simple question that I've been meaning to ask you for a long time.
I absolutely love the look of vinyl after it has been cleaned gently but fastidiously with 70% alchohol. No fingerprints no dust...means the light can pass through and you see nothing but color. Can I use a diluted solution.of alc and water on a micrsham to gently wipe down long finished work without fear of degrading the finish...only on sculpts that have had their clearcoat all set for many days? Is this ok? It sure looks ok.

Permalink Reply by Dead Presidents on August 10, 2011 at 11:21am Hi thanks for the tips, I'm wondering what I can use as a reducer... Most of the bottles are fine, but some of them are a little thick... Thanks in advance
Permalink Reply by Paperdaniel on August 12, 2011 at 5:11pm i have another nifty painting tip. -always be on the lookout for a trusty spare tool just in case the equipment gremlins get you...and they can get you at the worst times; ate my compressor a few months back. the fluctuatingly frustrating economy does have its strong moments- i did not just pick up a brand spankingnew in the box iwata hp-ch for 50clams. it must be a dream. one hella spare gun to luck into for fitty dollas.
