Thanks Josh for opening this discussion. I am fairly new to collecting; although, I am building an army of personal favorites. I came into this realm through resin. A little over a year ago I went to TAG (Toy Art Gallery in Hollywood) for the first time and my mind was blown away. Since then I’ve been working and researching immensely discovering a new found love of toy collecting and painting. I’ve been producing my own art, for the last six or so years as just a hobby, including early attempts at boot-legging. I was always into the more abstract and graphic creatures. Seeing all the crazy kaiju and resin I can’t help but get involved since it reminded me so heavily of my childhood the late nineties animation. Even though these may be early attempts, it’s a great community to progress in. It’s neat hearing about how different all of the artists backgrounds as well as seeing as of the insane creatures.
