glug glug ... sorry for the lack of posts .. well you can mostly find me on Tweeter ( maxtoyco ) but Matt told me to post some stuff I've been doing so here it is ;-)
I highly recommend his new VividTone line .. the Pink and Yellow are VERY bright ... my eyes tweek out a bit when I spray them, thats how Vivid they are .. make the normal yellow look dull, even though it's not dull ;-) well you know what i mean ... ;-)
anyhow, Monster Kolor continues to amaze me paint wise .. and since it's pre mixed so easy to use !
Been busy prepping for the 5th Anniversary Max Toy shows in Tokyo and San Francisco, plus Matt's In Living Kolor San Francisco Tour !! Man wait till you hear the line up of painters he's got coming ...! Make your plans and show up at Double Punch San Francisco on Saturday April 23rd, 2011 !!! Live painting with Monster Kolor on toys .. come and give it a try, for free ! Or watch your favorite customizer spray away !!! Gonna be Fun !!!!
Everything below is for sale at the Dragatomi show, Monster Party opens Jan 8th, 2011 in Sacramento, CA .. I'll be there plus Gatchbert too ( Lil Japan and DLUX also in the show )
phew .. back to work for me ....
the picture above was painted with acrylics on canvas board, but i did my final varnish with Monster Kolor Clear Coat ! Sprayed down nice and smooth, and when dry is a super glossy finish ;-) Nice ...

These all look great. I love the mini Argus (duh), but you've gotta paint those pupils! I also really like how the texture of the canvas shows through on the Tripus piece.
