Hey painters, can't wait till Matt pumps out some pin striping tutorials but till then, I would like to see some discussion on brush painting.

I have brushed a few simple things like eyes before but I want to start doing more! I want to paint teeth, claws and line work.

So what is the best tips for paint and brushes when working with vinyl? Also interested in "traditional" toy painting methods regarding brush work :)

I have brush clear coated before. Not my preferred method but it works. Read above for the brushes I use.  I'm only a couple weeks away from the official release of mk " brushable" post your results if you can. Most brush painters are using the mk aerosol gloss or flat to finish off there projects.

Im glad to see some brush painters on mk, I have a question for those that may have an answer. have any of you used the clearcoat with brushes? I'm not sure I want to risk a freshly painted toy to inexperience in this area. id love to see my monsterkolor shine but am hesitating. thanks

awesome matt, thanks for the heads up. ill look into that asap. looking forward to the brushable paints, will it still be a liquid texture or will it be thicker?

The brushable is a new formulation of mk. It has a nice creamy consistency perfect for brushing.

sounds good. i have developed a taste for brushing the airbrush paint. it takes some patience but the results are great. im eager to see a combination of both types.

Released the "brushable" monster kolor a few weeks ago.

I've only had a chance to use it a bit, but the consistency is amazing. I enjoyed brushing with the non brushable personally but this stuff blows it away. I can't wait to see what colors you start to produce.
Thanks Franko! Working on metallic brushables now. Silver,Gold,Charcoal So much ,I can't wait to tell you all !
