Hopefully, I didn't post this twice. Sent it out once and it didn't upload. ; /

This is my first attempt at sculpting, mold making, resin casting, and airbrushing. Usually I am a doodle-ist and acrylic on canvas painter.

First Time ? Looks really cool to me! I can see some of the subtle shading on the wolf girl. I have total respect for all of you who can do it all. I can only paint ;)

Definitely the first time. I've learned some lessons for sure and made some stupid mistakes. :)   I love doing the shading, but I have a lot of trouble with masking. I got a lot of red on my white and white on my red which was really frustrating.

I really like the Moon Dust. Maybe, it's because I am a girl (oooooh, sparkly), but I think it looks good on everything. It made the black look like obsidian after the gloss coat was applied. It is amazing how the gloss coat transforms the colors.

Also, it may have been the journey to Las Vegas in the heat on mail trucks etc (it was like 110 F when they were delivered), but Grape Ape, Reddy, and Blumoon were really hard to get out of their bottles. Like little slugs of pigment at the bottom. I just thinned them and everything is fine, but just a heads up. It was only those colors for some reason. I'm having so much fun with your paints and the MK community. I've accomplished a lot in a short period of time with everyone's help. :)

I agree, you have done quite a bit in a short time. Making and painting toys gets quite passionate :). Always working on perfecting the next sculpt, paint app, color mix, etc.

Make sure your shaking the bottles of mk really good before using them.

first attempt? the wolf its pretty good man!

Thanks! :) The Wolf Girl was my first, Smit (the duck) is my second, and Sesame (little sitting guy) was my third. I made the originals with Aves Apoxie Sculpt and learned a lot as I created each character and mold. Sculpting is tricky for me. Next time I will make my character's legs a bit thicker, because I snapped some duck legs like it was going out of style.
