it goes on untill i click and then wait like a fiend for the next secret no warnings drop. its good to be of help and enjoy myself at the same time. what could be better?

I got a bazooka, and just grabbed a stereogon. 65$ for the unpainted seemed totally fair,
Permalink Reply by Paperdaniel on March 28, 2011 at 6:17pm i knew i couldnt be the only person on here that didnt find the shootin blanks thing hard to ignore. just a smart idea, almost a duh kinda thing. it makes too much sense for my common sense side to mount a good arguement against taking part and supporting it. that yamo was the last straw for me, as i had just got smokinscarygood with the MK flourescents and was looking for a good glow sculpt to beat up on with those eyeburners...its perfect for what i have in mind. now i just have to bring myself to paint on it when it comes in...its one of those where the sculpt is so nice it stands alone quite well.
i saw what you did to all those yamos, walker. i just saw that photo the other day. sick. all lined up like a little army. i coulndnt see one i didnt want.

yeah. there is something about the idea of really attractive ladies enjoying kaiju that just sets my gears in motion. pretty ladies that like western vinyl (dunnys...etc) dont peak me in the same way. those designs are aimed at the softer side of us anyway. but...attractive, smart, funny AND you like my monsters and robots too...even have a few solid shelves of your own? oh, i do surrender ma'm. i worked a trade with a gorgeous local girl here in az last month..she had a collection that rivaled mine in size and scope and an immaculate collection of popy/mattel? giant shoguns and old schilling style metal windup robots. at one point she showed me some old windup robot with sparky eyes set it down and giggled.."look, he still blows perfect blue smokerings". i was smitten..and she was taken. taken by another girl she met years ago collecting manga. my jealousy now knows no bounds.

Permalink Reply by Paperdaniel on March 30, 2011 at 3:58pm good job on that snag martin, i missed the drop. i am a huge gargamel and blobpus fan. gargamel was the first neokaiju label that just wowed me with their sculpts. it was where i really started to see the fine art aspect of what was being achieved by some of these artists. kaiju may have began as just toho bathtime toys for monster infatuated boys, but it has grown into so much more. i am biased of course, but i think i have never before seen anything like the art movement that is neokaiju. it somehow has the ability to attract such wonderful people. helpful people. never seen anything like it. i'm actually proud to say i collect and paint kaiju, and i love it when i see a person like you fully "get it". maybe kaiju isnt for everyone, but it is obviously made for people like you.
and throw some pics up when you get it in hand so i can see what i failed to acquire...my first hard kaiju lesson i learned many years ago but stll have a hard time accepting..."you cant have it all". i have a hard time with that still.

I got one of those rootbeer colored Blobpus mini's. I was so happy the first one was under 30. Wish I could afford more but I just bought a custom neo eyezon off D-LuX. It's wonderful to see so many people who care with their hearts their hobbies and their wallets. I don't know Amy but she has to have a heart of gold.
Permalink Reply by Nick "Detroit" Martin on March 30, 2011 at 5:37pm Soon as I get Kaiju you guys will have the pic's. I couldn't believe the mini was under 30$. I too see Gargamel as my entry to understanding Japanese Vinyl. saw a lot of stuff but didn't care, my brother is a painter and a bomber so for the longest time i just dug urban stuff then saw Gargamel and Max toy and lost my mind. Half way of course because I have a two and half year old who has reminded me of the magic of both toys and monsters.
