Comment by Paperdaniel on July 16, 2012 at 2:25pm: So gorgeous. Surely the camera, no matter the fine optics, cannot be capturing the entire finish on this toy. I love Blobpus, and this sculpt was one of the first few neokaiju sculpts that I completely "got" when I saw it. It was all tainted with HP Lovecraft and his pornographic love for the denizens of our unconscious. It was the first sculpt I saw that was sooooo not Godjira nor even of the same family. Love it. And I really love that you went for such vibrant hues on a dark sculpt. Makes it interesting, and the contrast adds visual tension..it holds it together hovering between art, toy, and design. Well done.
