Bob, this is a super complex sculpt to paint. Probably my favorite Daigomi thus far.

I would love to see a Plaseebo magnum opus of your work. It photographs so well, and i there is more than enough material to hold the pages together. You have been at this for some time now too, so there is that whole progression thing too with running themes that remain constant throughout the work. I think it would be swell.

They say it is better to be a running theme that a running joke. I'm not so sure yet. Sometimes i look at the world and I wonder if they could be one and the same thing. And surely life is part Laurel and Hardy slapstick, and part intelligent Monty Python with some black and white late 50's monster movie thrown in for goofs.

Thank you again PD. It must be wonderful to be in your head ! Someday I hope to have you write the introduction to a book on my work. You paint with words equally well.

This right here is why I am in no hurry to leave this place. I ain't looking to go nowheres; not as long as people are making these flowers that do not die. The transitional colors on this are stunning. If you stuck this in the tropical waters of Cancun, the little fishies would be trying to hide in its pseudo-coral shade. Once again, excellent work mr Conge. You have a unique way of subtly reminding us all that while these are only toys of a sort, their connection to high-art and the natural world is undeniable and totally underestimated. There is genius in these objects. Sometimes, I even think they are capable of battery-like behaviors, and have a way of literally storing creative energies and radiating it back to the viewer for other uses. I think they not only store the energies, but that the energy takes on radical entropical properties and purifies, multiplies, and focuses itself within the object. I think it literally stalks you..."waits" to be viewed, and then if it finds you are a suitable "host," it drops all manner of energy on you. These are more than just toys and great designs. This art form has value beyond value because of its position on the natural and unnatural world.
Bless the toy people's; they are the Creator's kids.
