Comment by Paperdaniel on March 12, 2012 at 4:15pm sooper clean. stitches look outstanding, and i am one of those people who thinks that it is not only ok to do fine details on japanese vinyl, i think it needs it. the only reason old kaiju has limited or no detail painting is because you woulda been fired for taking the time to do a good job. and thats a fact. i think it is fine of people want to fly that old hamhanded style, but i think its wise to know how/why that style began. i freak out when i see someone berate neokaiju for simply being a better quality and higher calliber of art/design than the old stuff. two totally different things. i like to keep aware of where we've been, but i am waaaaay more interested in where we are now..and where i may want to go tomorrow.
this is a fat little toy, and a great example of neokaiju and a top o the line paint-up on a neokaiju sculp.
