@ Matt. Yes! Hell yes! See, that is exactly what I mean when I say you get the "larger picture," and it is exactly why I hope to someday wrangle my way into your company. The thought of working for someone who fully believes in their company is one thing, but the fact that the same company is laced together by like minded troopers who also believe in their leader...well that is another thing entirely: it's priceless and rare these days.
What can I say...I want in. I knew it by the 3rd week or so of using the paint and seeing my work mutate into something I had been pushing towards for quite some time. You would think my first reaction would be to buy and paint more toys..do more commissions.., but that wasn't my first reaction. My first reaction was to turn everybody I knew in vinyl on to MK, and my hobby and kit brothers too...and some bike and chopper types I cool it with. Everybody wigged on the produkt. The clearcoat abuses are now legend with my bros, and great for jokery teasing eachother...( we were spraying it on everything..and I mean EVERYTHING).
And that's when I realized I didn't only want to use the paint - - I wanted to be part of MK. I still do, and I am fully cereal when I say that one fine day, I would love to find a spot on your team. I think you not only have a splendid company and work ethic, but I think the produkt itself is beautiful thing. I think these toys are special, and they bring people together like I have seen nothing else do. So why wouldn't I want to work for the baddest peoples doing such positive and good works? That's the finest combination to be had, and if your lucky enough to notice it, you should always try for it. I really do think you have something super special with MK...I think it's about the paint, but I also know its about the people that are using it. There is community going on. It's beautiful, man. It is.

@PD Thanks ! When you work for me it's like going on a "kamakaze" mission every day :) The best days for the crew are when I call out a "kolor explosion" this means that all of us stop the filling machines and paint Nags,Bemons and Anraku stuff just for ourselves :) Good times for sure !

@MK Matt- oh, I have no doubt that you are riding point on MonsterKolor. The product is flawless, and there is no real set limit to what a skilled hand can do with this stuff. And not only the skilled hand, but the beginner. I know because I have seen people give it a whirl to great effect and have a freaking blast doing it. Some people really get it. I mean we all had toys at one time so the urge to create and play..? It is very very strong,
One day, I would love to work for you Matt. Distribution, marketing, form or function..who knows, but I see your company as growing and pointed in a grand direction. The proof is in the pudding. The quality and totally wild versatility of the paint is undeniable off the first few sprays. Shoot. I knew it after my second pass of gold pearl over vivitone pink. Hooked by the gills. Brother, hooked by the gills.

Thanks, for all the kind words. I definitely got lost in this MOTUKO piece, it now represents an entire day of my life but i needed to paint one. All the great new photo stuff for ios has really been useful, no more opening up Photoshop every time, it does a good enough job, and much quicker. Also Instagram has proven to be extremely invaluable to me, and practically replacing the old twitters.

Oh..and I see you mess with photogene also? What a helpful tool it is. I don't use any of the kajillion filters and effects, but that wacky collage function is a lifesaver. What a gem and a half. I was given a 3rd gen spanking new retina IPad recently for "toy work" services rendered. It has changed my whole game. The ability to do that "pinchy" expand/contract fingerthingy on high def photos has put me in orbit where I need to be. I should have acquired one much sooner. Tools. Christ on a bike...I love love love having exactly what I need. No more..no less. A good tool can flip your whole game on its head. That's how I felt when I got used to MK. It's only a tool, but man..MK...what a tool! Turned me into a damn fanboy. 40something full-on otaku.

This design has action figure throwback written all over it. I don't think I could paint it without having gi-joe, army man, han solo flashbacks. These kind of designs really show where some people's arttoy head is at. I love it. Some people are so kick-ass that they refuse to try to repurchase their lost childhood at auctions. Nope. Instead, they use their imagination and serious skills to make something new. Inspiration is the finest coin in the realm, and art/design is the currency you mint it by. You have done a sweet job on this toy. I can tell because I want to get my grubbiness on it..play with it. The job on the powerfist attachment is superb, and I want to pop it on and off the arm and make "pew..pew..pew!" laser sounds and go all "aaaahhhh nooooo!"
It is hard to walk the line between art and toy. Design and function. But it can be done. This is hearty stab at it. Another great toy, dude.
Maybe the bestest thing about a good toy is how much gooder it makes the toys next to it. I never get used to that aspect of vinyl. Nothing like a great toy.
